On Friday, Sept. 16 at 7:30 p.m., join the Lewisville Lake Symphony as they kick off their season with a concert featuring two opera talents. Soprano Aria Evans and baritone Jonathan Patton will both be performing alongside the Lewisville Lake Symphony at the Lewisville Grand Theater, 100 N. Charles St. Both Evans and Patton were named winners at the symphony's 2022 International Voice Competition. At the concert, you will enjoy familiar pieces including the Can-Can, the Fantasia theme, Musetta's Waltz from La Boheme, and even some songs from popular video games. Take a trip to The Modern in Fort Worth to view international modern and contemporary art. The permanent collections includes work from notorious artists such as Andy Warhol, Robert Motherwell, and Pablo Picasso. Visitors can also enjoy the Women Painting Women exhibit featuring 46 female artists who choose women as a subject matter. Please bring a picnic lunch or money for lunch at Café Modern, located inside the museum (entrees $9 - $20)
This volunteer led, fun, chair-based exercise class is great for all fitness levels. This fun workout includes stretching, cardio, and weight training.
INSTRUCTOR: JILL Pound It Out is an exercise format that uses weighted drumsticks to relieve stress by hitting a yoga ball to rock and roll music. Fun either sitting or standing!
Winners will split the money collected. Prizes will not exceed $10.
