This gentle yoga class will help increase flexibility, balance, and strength.
Increase muscular strength, endurance, range of movement, flexibility,
balance, agility, and coordination. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing
with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance. A chair is used for
seated and/or standing support.
It is never too late to learn something new! Spanish tutor, Ofelia Gabel, will teach participants the basics of Spanish.
On the first Tuesday of each month, trained counselors from the Area Agency
on Aging will meet with SIM members one-on-one to answer questions regarding benefits and services available to seniors.
Pound It Out is an exercise format that uses weighted drumsticks to relieve stress by hitting a yoga ball to rock and roll music. Fun either sitting or standing!
INSTRUCTOR - MARGO
This fun, energetic class is designed for people that would like to sit in a
chair or wheelchair. Latin moves, a variety of different music, and Zumba toning sticks will be used in class.
Winners will split the money collected. Prizes will not exceed $10.
Instructor Sue will lead a month-long workshop where students build painting
skills and complete beautiful works of art. Supply list is available at the Senior Center Courtesy Desk.

Carol Concert following lunch. The group
will lead this fun concert that includes a holiday
carol Sing-a-Long and individual performances.
With several levels of Tai Chi, you will learn the restorative powers of Tai Chi for the mind and body.
Bring your voices and join the SIM friends each Tuesday for a fun sing-a-long!
Each month, the SIM program will screen an
evening movie in the Shirley Voirin Ballroom.
Prior to the movie, join friends for pizza.
