This volunteer led, fun, chair-based exercise class is great for all fitness
levels. This fun workout includes stretching, cardio, and weight training.
Mindfulness practices have been shown to help with pain reduction and pain relief. Licensed instructor Dr. Julie Ballinger, will introduce participants to a variety of mindfulness-based practices that you can do to feel less pain, reduce stress, and thereby add more joy into your daily life. Topics include using mindfulness of sensations, your relationship to pain, stress reduction strategies, expanding tolerance, compassion, and resourcing.
This workout focuses on the basic muscle group to increase strength.
It includes gentle stretches also improve flexibility, movement, and balance.
New Seniors in Motion members are invited to this fun lunch and social. New
members will enjoy a light lunch, get important information about SIM programs,
and meet new friends.
This class will provide you with the knowledge and skills to receive therapeutic benefits from the moving practice of Nia.
