Artists are invited to submit work for the “Up in the Air” exhibition at the ART House (Entry deadline is 8/18). Creativity is highly encouraged for images depicting things that are up.
Winners and select exhibitors will show their art at the Art House Gallery located north west of Dallas in Flower Mound, Texas. The exhibition will take place September 7-30 with a reception on September 7 from 7 to 9 PM at the gallery.
The exhibition includes a reception, online exposure, publication, and promotion. Approximately 100 entries will be hung in the gallery. Entries must be submitted online before August 18th. All entries must represent the original work of the artist.

Artists are invited to submit work for the "Off The Wall" Painting and Sculpture exhibition at the ART House. Pieces should be non-flat artwork. This includes 3-D sculptures, fine woodworking, dioramas, trompe l'oiel illusions, etc. Anything that leaps off the wall.
Winners and select exhibitors will be showing their art at the Art House Gallery located north west of Dallas in Flower Mound, Texas. A reception will be held on Oct. 5 from 7 to 9 PM at the gallery. This will be catered chic event with invitations sent to art collectors and artist networks. The exhibition includes a reception, cash awards, online exposure, publication, and promotion. Approximately 100 entries will be hung in the gallery.
September 13, 2019, 7:30 PM @ MCL Grand
Mezzo-soprano Hilary Grace Taylor and soprano Samantha Dapcic will be the featured soloists at the first concert of the 2019-2020 Lewisville Lake Symphony season. The two are first and second place winners of the 2019 Lewisville Lake Symphony International Voice Competition.
Both vocalists have performed nationally and internationally, and both are doctoral students at the highly acclaimed College of Music at the University of North Texas.
The concert will feature arias from such favorites as Bizet’s "Carmen", Puccini’s "La Boheme", and Rossini’s "Barber of Seville". In addition, the symphony will perform familiar selections from operas by Verdi, Gounod, and others.
Under the baton of Maestro Adron Ming, the Lewisville Lake Symphony is an all-professional orchestra that has brought great music to North Texas audiences for 35 years.

This is an opportunity for parents, caregivers, grandparents, and their baby to join others in experiencing a variety of sensory play areas including building boxes, art activities, shakers, and much more! This program meets on the second Friday of each month (except August) from 11:15-12:15 p.m.
