  1. "Off the Wall" Painting & Sculpture Exhibition & Competition

    October 5, 2019 - November 1, 2019 @ ART House

    Artists are invited to submit work for the "Off The Wall" Painting and Sculpture exhibition at the ART House. Pieces should be non-flat artwork. This includes 3-D sculptures, fine woodworking, dioramas, trompe l'oiel illusions, etc. Anything that leaps off the wall. Winners and select exhibitors will be showing their art at the Art House Gallery located north west of Dallas in Flower Mound, Texas. A reception will be held on Oct. 5 from 7 to 9 PM at the gallery. This will be catered chic event with invitations sent to art collectors and artist networks. The exhibition includes a reception, cash awards, online exposure, publication, and promotion. Approximately 100 entries will be hung in the gallery.

  2. Alcohol Ink Tile Workshop

    October 25, 2019, 12:30 PM - 3:00 PM @ Art House

    In this 2-1/2 hour workshop with an award winning artist and instructor, students will review and put into practice the principles of values, edges, color harmony, design and lighting. It will be informative, challenging and FUN! This workshop is for ages 18 and up.

  3. Lewisville Lake Symphony Chamber Series Concert

    October 25, 2019, 7:00 PM @ Trinity Presbyterian Church

    Three University of North Texas artists who have won acclaim both locally and internationally will join forces to present a free concert on Friday, October 25, at 7:30 pm, at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 5500 Morriss Road, in Flower Mound. Bree Nichols, soprano, Kimberly Watson, soprano, and Imre Pátkai, piano, will perform selections by Mozart, Strauss, Bizet, Bernstein, Rogers and Hammerstein, and others in the first Lewisville Lake Symphony International Chamber Series concert of the 2019-20 season. This concert is part of Daniel Pearl World Music Days and as such is one of 2000 concerts in over 80 countries that commemorate the life of Daniel Pearl, the Wall Street Journal’s South Asia Bureau Chief, who was kidnapped and assassinated by terrorists in Pakistan while working on a story about Al-Queda.
