DCMGA Spring Gardening Series: The Pleasures and Pitfalls of Perennial Plants

Monday, February 22, 2021

The Denton County Master Gardener Association's Spring Gardening Series has returned! In partnership with the Flower Mound Public Library, DCMGA will present four gardening sessions full of useful tips and information. Sessions include: • February 1 – Organic from the Ground Up • February 8 – Beyond a Sprig of Parsley • February 15 – Trees Please! • February 22 – The Pleasures and Pitfalls of Perennial Plants All programs are free and will be held via Zoom, beginning at 7 p.m. To register and receive program meeting links, visit www.dcmga.com.

Learn about perennials: What they are, how they grow and propagate, and which ones have been most successful for Master Gardeners.

Presenter Carol Rowley became a Denton County Master Gardener after retiring from teaching science and computers at the secondary, elementary, and community college levels. She combines her hobbies of art, travel, and gardening into watercolors that capture how different folks create diverse gardens that apply principles of art. Carol enjoys 'giving back' by teaching the community.
