  2. "Up in the Air" Photography/Digital Art Exhibition & Competition

    August 18, 2019 - September 27, 2019 @ ART House

    Artists are invited to submit work for the “Up in the Air” exhibition at the ART House (Entry deadline is 8/18). Creativity is highly encouraged for images depicting things that are up. Winners and select exhibitors will show their art at the Art House Gallery located north west of Dallas in Flower Mound, Texas. The exhibition will take place September 7-30 with a reception on September 7 from 7 to 9 PM at the gallery. The exhibition includes a reception, online exposure, publication, and promotion. Approximately 100 entries will be hung in the gallery. Entries must be submitted online before August 18th. All entries must represent the original work of the artist.

  1. Create a Garden Pot Wind Chime

    Stop by the Library on Monday, August 26 at either 1 p.m. or 7 p.m. to create a garden pot wind chime! Local craft teacher Sharon Oels Martyn will demonstrate how to make the wind chime using clay pots, jute, and embellishments. The class is free to attend for anyone ages 13 and older and all supplies will be provided. To register for either session, please call 972.874.6165 or email fmpl@flower-mound.com.
