Our Second Annual Bike With the Blue event was a great success; we had an awesome time while raising money for an excellent cause; Journey to Dream, Kyle's Place.

Parking

For those attending Bike with the Blue, parking will be located at Fountain Business Park, 1005 Long Prairie Rd. Fountain Business Park is located just north of the Moviehouse & Eatery by Cineopelis.

Additional parking is located south of 1845 Taste Texas as indicated in the map.

Please do not park in spots labeled "retail" or "resident," as those spots are reserved.

Race Day Information

For specific information regarding each individual race, please view the following: 

Registration

Event Through May 8 (Children 17 and under / Adults) May 9 - May 14 (Children 17 and under / Adults)
5K Run $15 / $30 $25 / $40
Civilian Bike Race $15 / $30 $25 / $40
Bike with the Blue Youth Ride FREE FREE

The Civilian Bike Race is 5.51 miles, and will consist of nearly 5.2 miles of Town streets and paved road and .3 miles of a flat, gravel road. While the race can be completed on a street bike with relative ease, a mountain bike is recommended. 

The Bike with the Blue Youth Ride with officers will consist of all paved trail and Town streets. There will be a .83 mile ride for younger participants and a 1.65 mile ride for older children. Please note, NO registration is required to participate in the Bike with the Blue Youth Ride.  Helmets are mandatory!  If your child does not have a helmet, please notify our staff upon your arrival.

The Police Bike Race is a competition strictly for police bike units.

Race Day Schedule

  • 7 a.m. - On Site Registration / Chip Pick-Up
  • 7:30 a.m. - Kids Zone Opens
  • 8:30 a.m. - 5K Run
  • 8:30 a.m. - Skills / Bike and Helmet Checks  
  • 10 a.m. - Civilian Bike Race 
  • 11 a.m. - Bike with the Blue Youth Ride
  • 11:45 a.m. - Police Bike Race

After each race, participants can enjoy music, refreshments, and awards. 

Categories/Awards

Awards will be given to the male and female winners, as well as the first three finishers in each age division. Each child who participates in the Bike with the Blue Youth Ride will receive a certificate.
