The Town of Flower Mound is now accepting applications for Flower Mound Mayor and Town Council Place 4 in preparation for the Saturday, May 1 General Election ballot. To qualify, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Be a qualified, registered voter of the Town of Flower Mound
- Be 21 years of age or older on the first day of the term to be filled at the election or on the date of appointment
- Have been a resident of Flower Mound for at least one year prior to election date
- Shall hold no other public office except that of Notary Public, U.S. Military or Coast Guard reserve
The Flower Mound Town Council Members are elected “at large,” each representing the entire community. Both the Mayor and Place 4 will be for three-year terms. If interested, please request an informational application packet or contact the Town Secretary’s Office, located in Town Hall, 2121 Cross Timbers Rd.
