Keep Flower Mound Beautiful’s Fall Trash-Off is almost here!
To ensure social distancing, this year’s event will look slightly different. For those participating in the Trash-Off portion, the community clean-up will take place from Friday, September 25 to Sunday, September 27, at a time of your choosing. Pre-registration is required and locations will be pre-assigned to avoid large gatherings the day of the event. Giveaways and prizes will be awarded for the most trash, recyclables, and oddest item collected. All ages are welcome to participate. Those who have pre-registered will be sent instructions to pick-up their supplies from Town Hall (2121 Cross Timbers Rd.) beginning Monday, September 21 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
The Recycling Drop Off portion will take place on Saturday, September 26 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Flower Mound High School parking lot, 3411 Peters Colony Rd. Attendees can drop off their electronics to be recycled, have their documents shredded with Shred-It, and Recycle2Support (benefiting CCA) will collect gently-used houseware items, textiles, and clothing donations. In addition, pens, mechanical pencils, markers, plastic bags and film, razors, blades, and wire hangers will also be collected.
