Do you love to cook or are interested in learning how to cook? Here’s your chance to learn from the pros when Seniors In Motion Auxiliary and Seniors In Motion (SIM) team up to host a unique culinary experience from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 31 at the Flower Mound Senior Center.
Residents over the age of 50 are invited to watch four local professional chefs compete against each other by demonstrating and preparing their best dishes. Audience members will sample each dish and vote for their favorite; the chef with the most votes will be crowned the Flower Mound Elite Chef.
Tickets are $20 per person and includes appetizers, four tastings dishes, and beverages. Tickets can be purchased at the Senior Center Courtesy Desk, or on the Parks and Recreation website, keyword search “elite chef.” Seating is limited, and registration closes when full, or on Wednesday, January 30, whichever comes first. This event is open to the public (not just SIM members), and all proceeds will go toward SIM programming.
