Congrats to Midwestern State University on the opening of its new facility in Parker Square. Thanks to a partnership between MSU and North Central Texas College (NCTC), which is also located in Parker Square, anyone can earn a four-year degree right here in Flower Mound.
The new two-story MSU building is 30,000-square feet and includes various types of classrooms, two science labs, study spaces, a bookstore, and a conference room. Online classes began last fall. The partnership between NCTC and MSU will allow students to earn an associate degree, and for students in some majors, move on to complete their baccalaureate studies.
The campus also caters to the non-traditional students, such as adults working or living in the area who want to complete a degree or students tied to the Flower Mound area.
