Dog Park Safety Seminar
Tuesday, January 24, 2017
With the one year anniversary of the Hound Mound at Heritage Park right around the corner, Flower Mound Animal Services staff encourages park-goers to attend one of two informational presentations highlighting important rules and issues that have come up since the gates officially opened last January. The first presentation is Tuesday, January 24 at 7 p.m. at the Library, located at 3030 Broadmoor Ln. The second presentation is set for Wednesday, January 25 at 7 p.m. at the Community Activity Center, Pecan Room, 1200 Gerault Rd. These meetings are geared toward people already using the Hound Mound, in addition to those who may have added a four-legged member to the family over the holidays. Topics will include how to prepare for a visit to the Hound Mound, staying safe while there, and steps to take after you leave. Animal Services staff will also go over some of the most common rule violations, and answer any questions residents may have may have.
