The Importance of Native Plants in Your Landscape

Thursday, March 14, 2019

Did you know native plants can save you time, water, money, and fertilizer, but also provide benefits to local wildlife and much more? Learn all about the benefits of native plants in the final “Wild About Flower Mound” event (sponsored by The Flower Mound Foundation) on Thursday, March 14 at 7 p.m. at the Library. Local naturalist Carol Clark will explain why selecting native plants for your landscape is crucial to a functioning ecosystem and how non-native plants can be harmful to our plants and animals. To register, please email fmpl@flower-mound.com or call 972.874.6165.
