Flower Mound’s 15th annual Dorothy’s Dash 5K and Kids K is set for Saturday, November 10. This event honors former Town employee, Dorothy Walkup, who lost her battle with Multiple Sclerosis in 2004, and raises funds to combat this terrible disease. Registration is now open for all races, including the 5K and Kids K online at www.flower-mound.com/dorothysdash. Residents can also find information on the day’s schedule, race routes, volunteer opportunities, and various awards that will be given out in a variety of age categories on the webpage. Please note, in order to qualify for the special group rate for 10+ racers all entry forms and payment in full must be submitted in-person at the Community Activity Center. Online registration will remain open until Tuesday, November 6, however, participants can sign up in-person through race day.
