Bring the whole family to the Central Fire Station for the Flower Mound Fire Department’s annual Open House event on Saturday, October 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. You’ll be able to meet the firefighters, take a station tour, and watch as crew members demonstrate proper fire extinguisher use and vehicle extrication. Kids will also have the opportunity to use a fire hose (with the help of firefighters) and try on bunker gear! Free hot dogs, drinks and popcorn will be available. The station is located at 3911 S. Broadway Avenue.
