Great care was taken to develop this southern border of Flower Mound as a campus commercial district to take advantage of the 3-mile proximity to the DFW Airport and major infrastructure. Investment of $25 million by the Town in public improvements that include water and sewer extensions and new road construction.

The 1,500 acre Lakeside Business District is home to more than 100 businesses, including Stryker Communications, Best Buy Distribution, Ivie & Associates, HD Supply, Custom Ink, Mohawk, ThermoTek, and Signature Systems Group, the regional headquarters of Whitlock, and the global headquarters of BNSF Logistics, plus retail stores Home Depot and Stacy Furniture.
