Colleges
There are approximately 28 four-year colleges and universities within 50 miles of Flower Mound, including the University of North Texas (40,806 students, Spring 2022), and Texas Woman's University (16,326 students, Fall 2021), both located in Denton. In addition, there are approximately 20 two-year/community colleges within 50 miles of Flower Mound.
North Central Texas College (NCTC) has a 32,000-square-foot extension campus in Flower Mound's Parker Square. The fall 2018 enrollment at the Flower Mound campus was nearly 2,000 students.
Additionally, Midwestern State University, a partner to NCTC, recently completed construction of a 30,000 square-foot campus in the same development, which allows students the opportunity to complete their four-year degree right here in Flower Mound.
