Street Sweeping

The town’s street sweeping program consists of the quarterly sweeping of major arterials, greenway urban arterials, greenway rural arterials, and urban minor arterials. The street sweeping program also serves as a "Best Management Practice" within the Pollution Prevention/Good Housekeeping Minimum Control Measure pursuant to the Texas Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Phase II MS4 General Permit TXR4000.

In April 2010, the Town Council approved Resolution No. 07-10, which provides homeowner associations an opportunity to voluntarily participate in the town’s annual street sweeping agreement at their own expense. Drainage and Right-of-Way administers the annual street sweeping services agreement for the town and participating homeowner associations.
