Flower Mound residents may dispose of up to 10 cubic yards of waste free once per month at the Camelot Landfill located at 580 Huffines Blvd. in Lewisville, Texas. Loads in excess of 10 cubic yards (one cargo bed full) will be subject to additional fees. There is an additional charge for non-compactable items such as bricks, concrete, and composition shingles.
Residents may access the landfill Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 7 to 11:30 a.m.
The free Flower Mound resident privilege is not for commercial use and residents must provide proof of residency with their driver's license/photo ID, accompanied with a Flower Mound water bill with a Flower Mound address. The driver's license/photo ID must reflect the same resident name as the bill. Residents may also utilize bulk pick-up days or special paid bulk pick-up services to dispose of household items.
Please note that Camelot Landfill is subject to state rules, regulations, and enforcement which may result in fines or additional fees for violations (i.e., non-use of a tarp to cover debris). Hard hats are required and may be obtained at the landfill for temporary use (due to COVID-19, the landfill cannot loan hard hats at this time; however, they are available for purchase).
