Internal Utilities

The Town of Flower Mound provides water and, where available, wastewater services. When establishing service, residents will automatically be registered for trash and recycling pickup. Water, wastewater, trash, and recycling fees are all consolidated into one monthly bill. To establish service or have service placed in your name, visit Town Hall in person or visit www.flower-mound.com/activation.

Please note, using the online service to activate an account takes three business days from the date of the request. When activating service, an application must be submitted in person. A $60 deposit and $15 service fee must be paid at the time of application or can be billed to the account. The deposit can be waived with a letter of credit from a previous provider.

Once service is established, esidents can pay their water, wastewater, and trash bill at Town Hall by check, cash, cashier’s check, money order, Visa, Mastercard, and automatic bank draft. A night drop box is available 24-hours a day on the south side of Town Hall. The customer service counter inside Town Hall is open Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, the Utility Billing Division and Payment Counter may open later or close early. The Town of Flower Mound only provides water, wastewater, trash, and recycling services. Utilities such as gas, electricity, phone, and cable television are provided by other organizations.
