The mission of the drainage and right-of-way team is to provide stormwater control to the town through the maintenance of drainage ways. The Drainage and Right-of-Way Division is responsible for the operation and maintenance of public drainage systems and rights-of-ways within Flower Mound, with the exception of those within dedicated private or homeowner association-maintained drainage easements or under the jurisdiction of the Corp of Engineers or the Texas Department of Transportation. Responsibilities also include the cooperative administration of the Stormwater Management Program and the Debris Management Plan.
