Fire and Arson Investigations

Fire/Arson Investigations

The Flower Mound Fire Marshal's Office  is responsible for determining the origin, cause, and circumstances of fires that occur in the Town of Flower Mound.  The Fire Marshal's Office consists of arson investigators who are sworn peace officers that enforce the laws of the State of Texas pertaining to arson and malicious false alarms.  They are specially trained in the discovery, preservation, and presentation of evidence in proving the crime of arson.

Report Suspicious Activity

ZivaArson is not a joke or a prank. Setting fires on purpose is a crime that could end with a prison sentence.  Be aware of the potential danger to property and lives. Teach children not to play with fire. Pay attention to what is happening in your neighborhood. If you see suspicious activity, smell smoke or see something smoldering, let us know.

The Texas Advisory Council on Arson to will offer a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of person(s) responsible for arson activities in Flower Mound. If you have information, email the Flower Mound Fire Marshal's Office, call 972.874.6270, or contact ATAC at 1.877.434.7345.

Accelerant Detection Canine

In partnership with State Farm, The Flower Mound Fire Department provides the community with a team consisting of handler Fire Marshal Jason Bolejack and K9 Ziva.
