1000 Books Party
Celebrate our growing readers with stories, songs, and a special recognition for graduates of the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten challenge. All participants in the challenge are invited. Refreshments will be provided.

Weekly Storytime Classes
2022-23 Schedule
All attendees must have an entry pass to attend weekly classes. Passes are free and available upon request at the Youth Services Desk beginning 30 minutes before the start of the program until all passes have been distributed.
Buzzing Bumblebees: Geared toward children who are not yet walking, this class will encourage babies to explore the world of language and develop motor skills through books, songs, rhymes and related activities. Buzzing Bumblebees meets on Mondays at 9:30 a.m. and Tuesdays at 11 a.m.
Wiggly Walkers: A class designed for “new walkers” (those who are just starting to walk and still require some assistance) up to the age of two. Wiggly Walkers encourages tots to build early literacy skills through music, books, and rhyme. This class meets Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. and Thursdays at 11 a.m.
Romping Rhymers: Two- and three-year-olds will have a rollicking time reading, singing, and dancing while continuing to build literacy skills at Romping Rhymers on Wednesdays at 11 a.m. and Thursdays at 9:30 a.m.
Leaping Learners: Children ages three to five will share books, sing songs, and develop group listening skills in this class designed as a launch pad to reading. Leaping Learners meets Mondays at 11 a.m. and Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m.
