Community Activity Center Reopenings

Beginning September 1, 2020, the Community Activity Center (CAC) will revert to its regular hours of operation, while remaining partially open in specific areas at 50 percent capacity to members only. Face masks are required as per state mandates.

Please note that as areas reach their maximum capacity, members will be required to wait until space becomes available. Showers and locker rooms are available with social distancing mandates in effect.
Regular operational hours beginning September 1, 2020.
Monday-Thursday: 5 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Friday: 5 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Saturday: 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Sunday: 1 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Members are encouraged to bring their own water bottle, towel, and hand sanitizer due to limited supplies. All users are asked to limit their workouts to one hour.

Group Exercise


  • Restarting September 1, to members only
  • Face masks are required as per state mandates
  • Current capacity limits: 15 members per class
Members are encouraged to make a one-hour reservation at the front desk by calling 972.874.6299. Reservations will be limited to four times per week, up to one week in advance. A limited number of member walk-ups will be accepted only as capacity restrictions allow.

Group exercise will be offered with a reduced class schedule and limited participant numbers as outlined in the state mandates. Classes may be limited to 45 minutes to ensure adequate time to clean between classes where necessary, and members are encouraged to bring their own equipment. The CAC will have limited equipment available for use, which patrons must wipe down before and after use.

Social distancing will allow for face masks to be removed while exercising. Masks will be required for entry, set-up, clean-up, and upon completion of the class.  

Group exercise memberships have been extended for the length of time that classes have been unavailable. In addition, September will be provided at no additional charge for those patrons who had an effective membership during the shutdown, with fees being charged again after October 1. For new group exercise members, fees will be charged beginning September 1.
  • For example, if you had a membership that still had five days remaining on the date the CAC temporarily closed (March 14), it will be valid for five days after October 1. September is being offered at no charge. Similarly, an annual membership that had two months remaining at the time the CAC closed, will have two months remaining after October 1.
  • Membership Automatic Renewals: Autorenewals will begin charging again after October 1, based on the new expiration date of your extended membership.

Indoor Pool


  • Current capacity limits: Up to 2 members per lap lane for swimming, 25 members total for open swim
Lap Swimming: Beginning September 1, the indoor pool will be available for lap swimming for regular hours as outlined below. Reservations will no longer be taken.
Monday-Friday: 5:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.; 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 4:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Monday, Wednesday: Limited lanes available between 4:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Saturday: 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Sunday: 1:00 p.m. – 5:45 p.m.
Open Swim: Beginning September 1, the indoor pool will be available for open swim for regular hours as outlined below.
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 4:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Saturday: 11:00 a.m. – 6:45 p.m.
Sunday: 1:00 p.m. – 5:45 p.m.

Fitness Floor


  • Face masks are required as per state mandates
  • Current capacity limits: 34 total members
The fitness floor will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Members are asked to limit their workouts to one hour. State mandates specify patrons wipe down equipment before and after use. Members should maintain social distancing requirements.

Gymnasium


  • Face masks are required as per state mandates
  • Current capacity limits: 24 total members (a maximum of 12 members per side)
  • Members are encouraged to bring their own ball to play
The gymnasium will be available on a first -come, first-served basis. Members are asked to limit their time in the gym to one hour.

Tot Drop


  • Current capacity limits: 8 children
  • Face masks are recommended
Tot Drop will resume operations on September 1. Please note that the afternoon hours have been adjusted to start 30 minutes later than previously posted. The updated Tot Drop hours are as follows:
Monday – Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Monday – Thursday: 4:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Indoor Track


  • Face masks are required as per state mandates
  • Current capacity limits: 10 total members
The indoor track is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Users of the track will not be permitted on the fitness floor, unless space is available. Members are instructed to maintain social distancing requirements.

Memberships


During the shutdown, all CAC memberships were credited for any remaining time left on the membership during the closure, until Monday, July 6.
  • For example, if you had a membership that still had five days remaining on the date the CAC temporarily closed (March 14), it will be valid for five days after July 6. June is being offered at no charge. Similarly, an annual membership that had two months remaining at the time the CAC closed, will have two months remaining after Monday, July 6.
  • Membership Automatic Renewals: Autorenewals will begin charging again after July 6, depending on the new expiration date of your membership.

Areas to Remain Closed

Until further notice, the following amenities and services will remain closed:
  • Outdoor water park and concessions – closed for 2020
  • Chill zone
Furthermore, to help us maintain social distancing requirements, there will be no scheduling of facility rentals or birthday parties until further notice.
