The listed animals are ready for adoption. All animals may be viewed from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays at the Flower Mound Animal Adoption Center, 3950 Justin Road. After-hour appointments are available upon request.
There is no charge to adopt a dog or cat; however, state and Town ordinances require that the adopter have the animal vaccinated for rabies and spayed or neutered within 15 days of adoption.
If you think one of these wonderful animals could become a new member of your family, please visit the animal adoption center or call 972.874.6390 to receive additional information.
Meet Drake and Rose - they're in search of furrrr-ever homes.
Drake is a 1-year-old Australian Cattle Dog, who is current on his rabies vaccination. Drake is a sweet and smart boy, but he has some barrier frustration – meaning he’ll likely bark and jump up at the window when potential adopters are checking him out. Please don’t let this deter you from giving him a chance! Herding dogs like Drake are stimulated by movement and noise, so confinement is difficult when there is lots of action going on around him.
Rose is a 2-year-old Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever/Border Collie mix, who is current on her rabies vaccination. She is a people-pup who craves attention and affection. Rose doesn’t like spending time alone, and will make a wonderful companion pet.
