Santa's little helpers and their families are invited to join Santa as he makes his yearly stop for a pancake breakfast at the Community Activity Center! Enjoy making crafts and writing a wish list for Santa. Don't forget to bring a camera for photos! Pre-registration is required. Each attendee must individually register.

Kids Night In - Polar Express EditionKids Night In Polar Express

Kids, ages 5 - 11, can enjoy a night of Polar Express themed activities at the CAC! Come dressed in your Christmas PJ's to kick off the holiday break and enjoy snacks, treats, and crafts. Start off the New Year with a commitment to living a healthy and active lifestyle! The Parks and Recreation Department invites you and your family to come and discover all the amazing programs, activities, and fitness resources the CAC has to offer. This open house at the CAC includes free fitness classes in Studio 61, as well as drinks, snacks, and great giveaways! Admission is FREE to the CAC all day. Come see what the CAC is all about!

Twin Coves Park and Campground is hosting its annual Open House! The gates will be open for free entry during the event. All are welcome to tour the different styles of fully furnished cabins, visit the various day use areas including the boat ramp and RV sites, enjoy snacks and refreshments, and have your kids participate in some activities!

An unforgettable evening awaits as fathers and daughters create lasting memories at the Father Daughter Prom! Fathers and daughters are invited to dress in their best attire and enjoy an evening full of laughter, dancing, entertainment, and food. Bring your children to Jake’s Hilltop Park as the Town celebrates its 40th Annual Easter Egg Scramble. Lots of candy will be available for the taking, and there will be a special appearance by the Easter Bunny! Activities begin at 1:30 p.m., and the Scramble begins promptly at 2:30 p.m. No registration required.

H2O Egg DiveEgg Dive
Sunday, March 24, 1:30 - 5:30 p.m.  
CAC Indoor Pool, 1200 Gerault Road

Hop on over to the CAC for the H2O Egg Dive! Eggciting activities include a visit with the Easter Bunny and more. Parents must be in the water with all non-swimmers. Participants 3 and under are required to wear swim diapers. Pre-registration is required per participant. Parents do not need to register. Click here to register online.

Did you know the last total eclipse in the Flower Mound area was on July 29, 1878? The Total Eclipse of the Mound is back 146 years later! Head to Twin Coves Park for a day of space-themed snacks and activities and to experience the peak time of the solar eclipse at 1:40 p.m. Activities are free with paid entry into Twin Coves. You won’t want to miss this once in a lifetime event!

Sunday, April 21, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.  
CAC Indoor Pool, 1200 Gerault Road

This competition will test your engineering skills. Individual participants or teams of two will have an hour and a half to construct and decorate a seaworthy vessel using only CAC provided supplies. All assembled products will be tested in a final race against the CAC’s indoor pool. One person from each team must sail across the waters (25 yards) without sinking. Prizes will be awarded to the top three fastest crafts that make a successful voyage. Individuals 13 and under will require a parent/guardian to register as their partner. Saturday, April 27, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.  
Rheudasil Park, 2401 Lake Forest Boulevard

The Rheudasil Park pond will be stocked with more than 500 pounds of catfish for this free kids fishing event. Prizes and awards will be given in several categories. Rod, reel, and bait are provided, or you can bring your own!
