Concerts in the Park
Fridays in May, 7 p.m.
Heritage Park, 600 Spinks Rd. 

Every Friday evening in May, Flower Mound residents can relax and listen to great music with their family and friends at our Concerts in the Park! The free concerts feature a variety of family-friendly, live music. All four concerts are held at Heritage Park (600 Spinks Rd.) and begin at 7 p.m.

Flower Mound Senior Center, 2701 W. Windsor Drive

The Town of Flower Mound invites the community to join together to remember our fallen soldiers of war on Monday, May 30 for the annual Memorial Day Ceremony. The ceremony will feature keynote speakers from the military and local leaders, Color Guard, patriotic music, and more. This free event is open to all, and will be begin at 9 a.m. at the Flower Mound Senior Center.

For those wishing to add a Veteran to the Wall of Honor, the Town is asking residents to submit a picture and bio of a fallen hero, so that they may be recognized for their heroism. Click here to submit a fallen hero. Submission deadline is Wednesday, May 11.

CAC Outdoor Water Park 

Join Park and Recreation staff at the CAC to celebrate Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day this summer at the CAC outdoor water park! From 1 - 5 p.m., activities and games are spread throughout the day to encourage participation from patrons of all ages and abilities. Activities are FREE with paid admission to the CAC.

Chalk the Walk Art Contest DSC_2131
Saturday, June 4, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Heritage Park, 600 Spinks Road 

Grab some chalk and embrace your creativity! Artists of all ages and abilities are invited to spend the day turning the park into a canvas of color. Participants will be assigned a concrete square to create their masterpiece. A set of chalk pastels will be provided for the first 75 participants to register, or you can bring your own. Register online or at the CAC front desk.

Judging will begin at 12:30 p.m. and prizes will be given based on multiple age groups: 6 and under, 7-10 years old, 11-13 years old, 14-17 years old, 18 and older, and a family division.

CAC Birthday BashGirl going down slide at CAC Outdoor Water Park

Flower Mound CAC 

Join the Town of Flower Mound Parks and Recreation Department as we celebrate the CAC’s 14th Birthday! The CAC has enhanced the lives of area residents through its classes, programs, special events, and fitness center. Come wish the CAC Happy Birthday and enjoy snacks, special prizes, giveaways, and more. Members may also bring a friend for FREE all day to enjoy the celebration. No RSVP needed - see you there!

Timber Creek Elementary, 1900 Timber Creek Rd 

Line up begins at 9:30 a.m. at the corner of Eaton and Timber Creek Road. Decorated bikes, trikes, wagons, and strollers will parade a short route to Leonard & Helen Johns Community Park where you will enjoy free hot dogs, drinks, children’s activities, and live entertainment.

Independence Fest 2022 
Monday, July 4 - 5 - 10 p.m. 
Bakersfield Park, 1201 Duncan Ln
Fireworks begin at approximately 9:50 p.m.

Spend Independence Day with the Town of Flower Mound! Independence Fest 2022 will include live music featuring Le Freak and headline act Randy Rogers Band, concessions, kid’s zone, car show, lots of exhibitors, and a finished with a great fireworks show. The evening program, fireworks show, and off-site parking are FREE! The rainout date for the fireworks show only is July 5.

Dive-in MovieDive-In Movie

CAC Indoor Pool 

Bring your family, friends, and floats to the CAC to enjoy a Dive-In Movie in the indoor pool! The movie will begin at 7 p.m. Children 10 and older are welcome without an adult present. Activities are FREE with paid admission. Movie may change without notice.
