Easter Egg Scramble
Saturday, April 1, 1:30 - 3:30 p.m.
Jake's Hilltop Park, 4975 Timber Creek Road
Bring your kiddos to Jake's Hilltop Park as the Town celebrates the annual Easter Egg Scramble! Lots of candy will be available for the taking, and there will be a special appearance by the Easter Bunny. Activities begin at 1:30 p.m., and the Scramble begins promptly at 2:30 p.m. Fletcher's Original Corny Dogs will be on site selling food for an additional cost.
This event is free for all and kids 12 years and under are invited to participate in the scramble!

H2O Egg Dive
Saturday, April 8
CAC Indoor Pool
Hop on over to the CAC for the H2O Egg Dive! Eggciting activities include a visit with the Easter Bunny, arts and crafts, and games. Stay around after the egg dive to play in the pool and enjoy the festivities. Parents must be in the water with all non-swimmers. Participants 3 and under are requires to wear a swim diaper. Pre-registration is required per participant and the cost is $15 per participant.

Kid Fish
Saturday, April 29, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Rheudasil Park, 2401 Lake Forest Boulevard
The Rheudasil Park pond will be stocked with more than 500 pounds of catfish for this free fishing event! Prizes and awards will be given in several categories to kids 16 years and under. Rod, reels, and bait are provided, but feel free to bring your own!

Concerts in the Park
Friday, May 5, 12, 19, & 26, 7 - 9 p.m.
Heritage Park, 600 Spinks Road
Enjoy a perfect evening listening to great music with friends at Heritage Park! A different live band will entertain you each week; all you need to bring is a blanket or chair to relax on! Concerts will begin at 7 p.m. No alcohol or glass containers are permitted in the park. For more information, please visit the Concerts in the Park website.

Arts Festival at Heritage Park

Experience the arts together at the Flower Mound Arts Festival! Connect, create, and celebrate art with live performances, art vendors, hands-on activities, a community mural, and more. Memorial Day Ceremony
Monday, May 29, 9 a.m.
Flower Mound Senior Center, 2701 West Windsor Road
The Town of Flower Mound invites the community to join together to remember our fallen soldiers of war. The ceremony will feature keynote speakers from the military and local leaders, Color Guard, patriotic music, and more. To submit a tribute to a fallen hero, please email recreation@flower-mound.com. The submission deadline is May 12.
Summer Chalk the Walk Contest
Saturday, June 3, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Heritage Park, 600 Spinks Road
Grab some chalk and embrace your creativity! Artists of all ages and abilities are invited to spend the day turning the park into a canvas of color. Participants will be assigned a concrete square to create their masterpieces. A set of chalk pastels will be provided for the first 75 participants to register, or you can bring your own.
Judging will begin at 12:30 p.m. and prizes will be given out based on multiple age groups: 6 and under, 7-10 years old, 11-13 years old, 14-17, 18 and older, and a family division. Food trucks will be on-site with food available to buy for purchase.
CAC's 15th Birthday Bash
Saturday, June 10, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Community Activity Center, 1200 Gerault Road
Join the Town of Flower mound Parks and Recreation Department as we celebrate the CAC's 15th Birthday! The CAC has enhanced the lives of area residents through its classes, programs, special events, and fitness opportunities. Come wish the CAC 'Happy Birthday' and enjoy snacks, special prizes, giveaways, and more. Members may also bring a friend for FREE all day to enjoy the celebration. No RSVP needed - see you there!
NEW! Sink or Sail Regatta
Sunday, June 18, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
CAC Indoor Pool, 1200 Gerault Road
A competition that will test engineering skills. Individual participants or teams of two will have an hour and a half to construct and decorate a sea worthy vessel using only CAC provided supplies. All assembled products will be tested in a final race against the CAC’s indoor pool. One person from each team must sail across the waters (25 yards) without sinking. Prizes will be awarded to those who make successful voyage and to the top three fastest crafts. Individuals 13 and under will require a parent/guardian to register along as their partner.
Independence Day Children's Parade
Tuesday, July 4, 10 a.m.
Leonard and Helen Johns Community Park, 1850 Timber Creek Road
Lineup begins at 9:30 a.m. at the corner of Eaton and Timber Creek Road. Decorated bikes, trikes, wagons, and strollers will parade a short route to Leonard and Helen Johns Community Park where you will enjoy free hot dogs, drinks, children's activities, and live entertainment.

Stars & Stripes Splashtacular
Tuesday, July 4, 1 - 5 p.m.
CAC Outdoor Water Park, 1200 Gerault Road
Join Parks and Recreation staff at the CAC to celebrate Independence Day at the CAC outdoor water park. Activities and games are spread throughout the day to encourage participation from patrons of all ages and abilities. Activities are FREE with paid admission.
Independence Fest
Tuesday, July 4, 5 - 10:30 p.m.
Bakersfield Park, 1201 Duncan Lane
Spend Independence Day with the Town of Flower Mound! Independence Fest 2023 will include live music featuring Le Freak and headline act Eli Young Band, concessions, a kid's zone presented by CoServ, car show, lots of exhibitors, and will finish with a great fireworks show. The evening program, fireworks show, and off-site parking are FREE! The rainout date for the fireworks show only is July 5.
