Twin Coves Park Open House
Saturday, April 6, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Ages: All Ages.
Location: Twin Coves Park, 5001 Wichita Trail
Make sure to grab the family and head over to Twin Coves Park for an open house event. 
During the open house, the public is welcome to tour the four different styles of fully-furnished cabins, enjoy hot dogs and refreshments, make individual trail mix, s’more kits, and a bird feeder station, and even place future reservations at Twin Coves. Park gates will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for FREE entry. The park includes 19 furnished cabins and 22 RV slips, in addition to a variety of other amenities including a small craft launch boat ramp, kayak rentals, playground, picnic area, and much more. DATE CHANGE: Easter Egg Scramble, Presented by Primrose Schools
NEW DATE: Friday, April 12, 6-8 p.m.

Location: Jake’s Hilltop Park, 4975 Timber Creek Drive

Due to the weather forecast, the date has been changed! Bring your children to Jake’s Hilltop Park as the Town celebrates its 36th annual Easter Egg Scramble, presented by Primrose Schools. Lots of candy will be available for the taking and there will be a special appearance by the Easter Bunny! Activities begin at 6 p.m., and the Scramble begins promptly at 7 p.m.

Underwater Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, April 20, 10-11 a.m.
Ages: 3-12 years.
Fee: $5/$6.
Location: CAC Indoor Pool.
Hop on over to the CAC for the Underwater Egg hunt! Egg-citing activities include a visit by the Easter Bunny, arts and crafts, and games. Stay around after the egg hunt to play in the pool and enjoy other activities. Parents must be in the water with all non-swimmers. 
Pre-registration is required. Price listed as the member/non-member rate.

Truck Rodeo
Wednesday, April 24, 3 – 4:30 p.m.
Ages: All Ages.
Fee: FREE.
Location: Flower Mound Public Library.
See Town vehicles from Animal Control, Parks, Streets, Fire and Police Departments up close in the library parking lot. Operators will be available to answer questions and let children sit in the driver’s seat. All ages are welcome. Popcorn and lemonade will be served. In case of inclement weather, this event will be cancelled. Don’t forget your camera! For more information, call 972.874.6200.

Family Camp Out - SOLD OUT
Saturday-Sunday, April 27-28, 4 p.m. – 9 a.m.
Ages: All Ages.
Fee: $60/$66 per family.
Location: Twin Coves Park.
Experience Flower Mound camping by pitching a tent at Twin Coves Park! Outdoor activities and various family games will be provided along with a catered dinner and breakfast. A family friendly movie will be shown on the big screen! Bring a tent, tent decorations, sleeping bags, bug spray, and flashlights. The most creative tent will win the tent decorating contest and a prize! Cabins and RV slots are an additional charge and must be booked separately through 
Twin Coves Park. Cabin and RV space is limited and must be reserved by Friday, April 12. Price is per family up to 6 people.

Memorial Day Ceremony
Monday, May 27, 9 a.m.

Location: Flower Mound Senior Center, 2701 W Windsor Drive

The Town of Flower Mound invites the community to join together to remember fallen soldiers of war. The ceremony will feature keynote speakers from the military and local leaders, Color Guard, patriotic music, and bagpipers. The Town is also asking residents to submit a picture and bio of a fallen hero which will be added to a special Wall of Honor and recognized during the event.

Join Parks and Recreation staff at the CAC to celebrate Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day at the CAC Outdoor Waterpark. Activities and games are spread throughout the day to encourage participation from patrons of all ages and abilities. Activities are FREE with paid admission.

Kid Fish
Saturday, June 1, 9 a.m. - 12p.m.
Ages: 16 years and younger

Location: Rheudasil Park Pond, 2401 Lake Forest Boulevard

The Rheudasil Park Pond will be stocked with more than 500 lbs of catfish for the event, which is free for youth ages 16 and younger. Prizes and awards will be given in several categories. CAC Birthday Bash

Join the Town of Flower Mound Parks and Recreation Division as we celebrate the CAC’s 11th Birthday! The CAC has been a focal point of the Flower Mound community and has enhanced the lives of area residents through its classes, programs, special events, and fitness center. Come wish the CAC Happy Birthday and enjoy snacks, special prizes, giveaways, and more. Members may also bring a friend for FREE all day to enjoy the celebration. No RSVP needed - see you there!

Back to School Bash
