Flower Mound general elections are held annually the second Saturday in May. Items listed on general election ballots for consideration could include Town Council positions, Charter amendments, CIP projects, and bond items. Flower Mound Town Council Members are elected “at-large” and serve two-year terms. The Mayor and Places 2 and 4 are elected in even-numbered years, and Places 1, 3, and 5 are elected in odd-numbered years.
Under the direction of the Town Council, elections can also be called throughout the rest of the year if necessary. Election ballots can also include county, school district, and state propositions.
