Community Affairs
Mission Statement
Flower Mound’s Community Affairs Division provides timely information promoting awareness of Town services, major projects, and community events, through the use of print, broadcast, and electronic communication media. The division manages Flower Mound’s government access cable television channel (FMTV) and the Town’s official website.

“My Flower Mound” Bulletins
Distributed monthly via the Town’s utility billing system, the My Flower Mound Bulletins provide information on a variety of topics including general Town news, public safety, and economic development. -
“Flower Mound Today” Newspaper Page
The Flower Mound Today newspaper page is a monthly news page designed to provide Town information in an economical and reader-friendly format. Informational features include parks and recreation bulletins, library news, and general Town stories. Flower Mound Today is currently published in The News Connection on a monthly basis. -
FMTV
FMTV is the government access cable channel operated by the Town of Flower Mound. FMTV is broadcast on Grande cable channel 12, Time Warner cable channels 16, and Verizon FIOS channel 42. Programming includes live broadcasts and replays of Town Council and Planning and Zoning Board meetings, public service announcements, a community bulletin board, special event coverage, and educational shows from state and federal agencies. -

Official Town of Flower Mound Websites
Located at www.flower-mound.com, Flower Mound’s official website provides detailed and timely information on Town departments, programs, and projects. Continually updated, the website provides readers the opportunity to either quickly browse breaking-news events via the “Inside FM Announcements” or conduct more detailed informational searches via numerous in-depth reports and summaries. In addition, Community Affairs also maintains a variety of other official Town of Flower Mound pages including dedicated library, community activity center, Seniors In Motion, and economic development websites. - Special Publications
Community Affairs also produces or assists with the creation of numerous special publications including the annual report, Welcome to Flower Mound Guide, Seniors In Motion newsletter, and activity and programs guides.
