The Parks and Recreation Department in partnership with Keep Flower Mound Beautiful will offer free Christmas tree and turkey oil recycling between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. from December 26 through January 13 at Gerault Park, 1200 Gerault Road.  The trees cannot be flocked and all decorations and nails must be removed.  Shrubs and tree limbs will also be accepted for mulching.  Lumber and trash will not be accepted.  Residents who would like mulch are encouraged to bring their own containers.  The turkey oil must be in its original container or similar container with a lid.  No shortening or lard will be accepted. Town of Flower Mound Community Services departments and local businesses offering summer camps, classes, and activities will be on hand to share information about their programs and take registrations. GPS Adventure is an outdoor recreational activity designed for friends and families to explore the Town’s park system. A high tech game of hide and seek, the Adventure uses GPS Orienteering to lead participants through 15 of Flower Mound’s parks on a hunt to find hidden markers.
