KIDFISH (Catfish)

Rheudasil Pond will be stocked with more than 1,000 catfish for this free event for youth ages 16 and younger. Prizes will be awarded in several age categories for the largest fish caught. Tackle and loaner rods and reels will be available if needed. Participants may choose to collect sponsorships prior to the event, with all proceeds benefiting the KIDFISH Foundation. Prizes such as trophies, medals, caps, T-shirts, and Zebco 33 Rod and Reel Combos are awarded for accomplishing different sponsorship levels. Summer Concerts in the Park

Bring your family to enjoy a summer evening listening to great concerts at the gazebo in Parker Square, 1500 Cross Timbers Road.  Order take-out from one of the many Parker Square restaurants and bring a chair or blanket.  All concerts begin at 7:30 p.m.

Line up begins at 10:30 a.m. at the corner of Eaton and Timber Creek Road. Decorated bikes, trikes, wagons, and strollers will parade a short route to the LISD School Administration Building, where free hot dogs, drinks, children’s activities, and live entertainment await.

Independence Day Fireworks Show

Fireworks begin at approximately 9:25 p.m.
Gates will open at 7 p.m. The fireworks show and parking at Flower Mound High School are free. No glass, alcohol, or tobacco products may be brought to the high school.  Concessions and children’s activities will be available. The rainout date for this event is Saturday, July 5.
