Youth Sports League Informational Handbook

Summer Youth Track and Field Club

The club introduces boys and girls to track and field, and provides a positive and fun training atmosphere to experience the thrill of competition and teamwork. Fee includes a running tank top shirt, professionally coached practices and registration with the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation. The fee does not include entry costs for events entered at local circuit meets and regional that are held at various locations on Saturdays in June and July. Qualifiers at the regional track meet will have the opportunity to compete in the TAAF State Games of Texas July 26-29, 2012 in Corpus Christi.

Dates: May 21 - July 29, 2012
(Practices are scheduled on Monday and Wednesday evenings)
Times: 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Cost: $70 per participant
Ages: 6 – 18 (as of December 31, 2012)
Location: Marcus High School Track

Registration: Registration will be accepted at the Community Activity Center beginning on

Summer Adult Softball

The Parks and Recreation Athletics office invites you and your team to participate in the 2012 summer adult softball season at Gerault Park. Each league will consist of eight (8) games and an end of season tournament for the top four (4) teams. The Town offers leagues for Men's D, E, and Church B, as well as Coed B and Coed Recreational teams. Interested teams can register at the Community Activity Center, 1200 Gerault Road. The Flower Mound Parks and Recreation is offering an adult 4 v 4 basketball league on Sunday's beginning June 10. All games will be played at the Community Activity Center
