Community Activity Center Opens Soon
The Community Activity Center, scheduled to open Summer 2008, will be a tremendous asset to Flower Mound and its residents for many years to come. Centrally located in Flower Mound, the CAC will provide easy access to all residents, and with a variety of offerings, the center is sure to have something for everyone.
This state of the art facility will include an indoor natatorium, an outdoor family water park, gymnasium, indoor jogging track, teen room, multi-purpose rooms, and much more!
The Parks and Recreation department will offer a variety of classes and programs at the new facility for youth, adults, and seniors including art, dance, swim lessons, water aerobics, and special events.

Looking for Instructors
The Town of Flower Mound is preparing to open its 70,000 square foot Community Activity Center this summer and is searching for instructors to join the team. The state-of-the-art facility, located at 1200 Gerault Road, will feature a gym, indoor and outdoor pool, fitness floor, indoor track, game room, childcare room, meeting rooms, and much more.
The Town is currently looking for creative and enthusiastic instructors to teach fun and informative classes for pre-school, youth, teens, and adults. This is a great way to share your favorite area of knowledge, earn extra cash, and set your own hours. Areas of instruction include group exercise, boot camp, nutrition, art, sports, and more.
