The Town of Flower Mound will hold a public hearing from 6:00-7:00 p.m. on May 16, 2008 at the Town Hall Council Chambers, 2121 Cross Timbers Road, in regard to submission of an application for funding under the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Community Development Block Grant Program. The purpose of this hearing is to allow citizens an opportunity to discuss proposed activities to be included in Flower Mound’s Program Year 2008 Action Plan for Housing and Community Development, for funding in the amount of $216,181. The Town encourages citizens to participate in the hearing and to make their views known. The document is posted on Flower Mound’s web page at www.flower-mound.com under “Departments/Grant Administration/Community Development Block Grant.” It is also available for viewing at the Town Library, 3030 Broadmoor Lane; and at Town Hall, 2121 Cross Timbers Road, during business hours between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Citizens unable to attend the hearing may submit their views and proposals in writing to Judy Jackson, Grants Manager, Town of Flower Mound, 2121 Cross Timbers Road, Flower Mound, TX 75028, or by email to judy.jackson@flower-mound.com.
