Learn to be a Severe Weather Spotter Through SKYWARN Training
Would you like to help your community by being able to recognize and report dangerous weather conditions? The Flower Mound Emergency Management Division will host SKYWARN training, a volunteer program for community members who would like to provide timely and accurate reports of severe weather to the National Weather Service, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on April 21 at the Flower Mound Community Center, 1200 Gerault Rd. Everyone is welcome to attend this free training and no registration is required. For more information, please call Flower Mound Emergency Management Specialist Paloma Garcia at 972.874.6209.
