Town, Flower Mound Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Team Up for Women’s Health

Celebrating the beginning of 2012, Flower Mound Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital will host the first free women’s health screening, titled “A New Year, A New You,” from 8 a.m. to noon January 14. Co-sponsored by the Town of Flower Mound, this special event is one of the first events of the Town’s “FM FIT” health program.

The health screening will feature several types of screenings, including:

Lipid Panel
Cholesterol
Body Composition or Body Mass Index
Sleep Apnea
Blood Pressure
Heart Screening
Bone Density (pre-registration required, normal insurance rates will apply)
Mammography (pre-registration required, normal insurance rates will apply)

A scorecard will be provided for all participants by mail after final results are interpreted by a doctor. The event will have multiple door prizes for participants. The screening will also have physicians on-hand to provide information on skincare, weight loss, menopause/hormone replacement, pregnancy, osteoporosis, cardiology, breast disease, urology, depression, hormone imbalance, elder care, nutrition, and more. RSVPs are requested, but not required, and can be completed by calling 469.322.7176. Please include the number of participants, who are 18 years of age or older.
