Check Sprinkler Settings During Freezing Temperatures
As the temperatures begin to drop, residents should be aware it is against Town Ordinances to operate a sprinkler/sprinkler system when the temperature is at or below freezing. The official temperature taken at the DFW Airport should be referenced when managing sprinkler systems this winter. Sprinklers that run during freezing temperatures could break and lead to a slipping hazard from water running onto sidewalks and streets.
