Flower Mound residents came together to fight Multiple Sclerosis by participating in the Town’s eighth annual Dororthy’s Dash for MS. Approximately 170 youngsters participated in the Kids K and 735 residents of all ages participated in the 5K, raising funds for the Lone Star Chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis foundation. Dorothy’s Dash is held annually in honor of former Flower Mound employee, Dorothy Walkup, who lost her battle with MS in 2004.
The Town would like to thank all Dorothy’s Dash sponsors, including title sponsor Fairlease. In addition to being the title sponsor, Fairlease donated five $500 donations in individual runners’ names.
Flower Mound congratulates first-place winner Jackson Fountain, with a time of 17 minutes and 16 seconds, in addition to runners Austin Miller and Laile Neal, who won second and third place, respectively.
