New Trash and Recycling Polycarts - Delivery Update

Waste Management of Texas will begin providing residential trash collection and recycling services to Flower Mound residents and businesses on Monday. The previous service provider is currently in the process of collecting its polycarts, and Waste Management is in the process of delivering new polycarts to all Flower Mound residences.

The collection and delivery process generally adheres to the collection-day zone schedule. For example, residences in the Monday zone were scheduled to receive collection services on Monday and new polycarts on Tuesday, while residences in the Tuesday zone receiving collection services on Tuesday and new polycarts on Wednesday, etc.

However, the Town has received reports of some homes not immediately receiving polycarts on the day after their service. Town staff is aware of the delayed deliveries and is working closely with Waste Management officials to ensure each home receives new polycarts in a timely manner. All zones and neighborhoods are scheduled to receive polycarts no later than Sunday. Town staff and Waste Management will work in conjunction to expeditiously resolve any outstanding polycart issues.
