In conjunction with National Night Out on Oct. 4, the Flower Mound Police Department will hold an Open House from 5 – 7 p.m. at the Police Station, 4150 Kirkpatrick. During the Open House, community members can learn more about crime prevention, the Flower Mound Citizen Patrol program, meet McGruff the Crime Dog, participate in a Carter Blood Care blood drive, tour the station, see police vehicles and equipment, and enjoy light refreshments.
In addition, families can have their child safety inspected as part of the police department’s partnership with Project Safe Kids. To have your child safety seat inspected, please schedule an appointment prior to Oct. 4 Open House by calling 972.874.3357.
Community members who would like to participate in the blood drive Oct. 4 from 2 – 7 p.m. at the police station should visit www.carterbloodcare.org, click on the “locations” tab and then the “Community Blood Drives” page to register.
