Draft Oil and Gas Ordinances Scheduled for Public Hearing/Documents Available for Review
The Flower Mound Town Council will review and consider adoption of the draft Oil and Gas Ordinance, the draft Pipeline Ordinance,and a draft amendment to the Zoning Ordinance as it relates to centralized gas well facilitiesduring the regular meeting scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. on July 18. The draft ordinances reflect edits and updates resulting from a year-long update process that included work conducted by Flower Mound’s Oil and Gas Advisory Board, several public meetings, expert testimony, and Town Council input. The Town Council held a public hearing to review and discuss these items during the regular Town Council meeting held on June 20.
