Flower Mound Road - Intersection Closure Update
The Town is currently working with the Flower Mound Road Reconstruction project contractor to expedite construction of the project and alleviate related traffic congestion. Phasing of the project has been updated the contractor will also be work extended hours when possible throughout the project to significantly reduce the time to complete the project. Currently the northern intersections of Stanford Dr. and Vanderbilt Dr. with Flower Mound are closed. The northern intersection with Starleaf Place will be closed starting September 25. When Vanderbilt Drive intersection is completed, Cornell Dr intersection will be closed. After pavement has been completed from Old Settlers Rd to Vanderbuilt Dr, traffic will be switched back on that portion of roadway and the intersection at Old settlers Rd will operate more effectively and may relieve some of the traffic congestion.
