2010 FMFD Resident Fire Academy
Sept. 13 – Oct. 25 / 7 – 10 p.m.
Central Fire Station

The Flower Mound Fire Departmentis currently accepting applications for the Citizen’s Fire Academy, scheduled for 7 to 10 p.m.on Monday nights from Sept. 13 through Oct. 25, at Central Fire Station. The course will introduce students to the world of fire protection and emergency medical services, the history of fire service and the Flower Mound Fire Department, fire cause and origin and basic fire science. Participants will also learn about protective equipment and clothing and the use of fire extinguishers and hose streams through “hands-on” instruction. Registration can be completed at the Central Fire Station, Administrative Offices.
