The Texas Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (TATOA) honored Flower Mound’s FMTV with eight awards today at their annual conference. A first place programming award was presented for design of the FMTV bulletin board. Second place awards were presented for the 2009 Annual Report video, the Seniors In Motion program public service announcement, and the FMTV web site. And, third place honors were given to the 2010 Town Council Candidate Debate and the Flower Mound Employee Spotlight show as well as the Overall Excellence in Programming category. TATOA is a state-wide professional organization comprised of more than 125 information technology professionals, and government television programmers, regulators, and legal advisors representing more than 55 Texas cities and organizations. The Town of Flower Mound has earned a total of 15 TATOA awards.
