Family Camp Out

Spend a night under the stars and give the whole family a taste for camping at Gerault Park! Bring your own tent, sleeping bags, bug spray, and flashlights - we’ll take care of the rest! Dinner, breakfast, and lots of opportunities for fun will be provided. Pre-registration is required.

Join Parks and Recreation staff at the CAC to celebrate Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day. Activities and games are spread throughout the day to encourage participation from patrons of all ages and abilities. Activities are free with paid admission.

Independence Fest
Children's Parade
Thursday, July 4 at 10:00am
Line up begins at 9:30am at the corner of Eaton and Timber Creek Road. Decorated bikes, trikes, wagons, and strollers will parade a short route to the LISD School Administration Building where free hot dogs, drinks, children’s activities, and awesome entertainment await.
Evening Program and Fireworks
Thursday, July 4, 5:00pm-10:30pm
Come out and spend Independence Day with the Town of Flower Mound. There will be concessions, live music featuring Rick Springfield at 8:15pm, a free Kid’s Zone, auto show, art show, lots of exhibitors, and a great fireworks show. The evening program, fireworks show, and parking at Bakersfield Park are FREE. No glass, alcohol, or tobacco products may be brought to the park. The rainout date for the fireworks show is Friday, July 5.

Teenapalooza

Come enjoy a teen night full of music, food, prizes, and fun! Teens will enjoy a night at the Outdoor Waterpark with entertainment, free food, games, and prizes. This is a fun, energetic, and supervised evening of programs which will give parents an opportunity to relax. Teens will have a blast getting together with their friends or meeting new ones. When you register for this event you will be entered into a raffle for a mega prize! Additional raffle tickets $2.
