About the Program
The Flower Mound Citizen’s Fire Academy is a hands-on learning program for residents that want to know more about the Fire Department.  The academy is free and open to Flower Mound residents only who are at least 18 years old.  Students will have the opportunity to learn basic first aid, hands only CPR, Fire & EMS operations, and have the chance to participate in live fire training and vehicle extrication.

The 2016 Citizen's Fire Academy will be held on Thursday evenings, beginning on February 4, 2016 and ends on March 31, 2016.  There will also be three Saturday morning classes on February 13, February 27, and March 19.  There will not be any classes the week of LISD's Spring Break.
