The Flower Mound Public Library provides the following online databases free of charge to Flower Mound Library cardholders. The Library licenses and pays for these databases with the exception of the TexShare databases which are provided to all public libraries through the Texas State Library and Archives Commission.

America's Newspapers America’s Newspapers searches current and archived coverage of state, regional, and national news with the collection of full-text U.S. newspapers including: The Dallas Morning News, Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Denton Record-Chronicle, New York Times, and the Washington Post.
 Ancestry Library Edition Ancestry Library Edition is a version of Ancestry.com that is available only on library computers. It provides access to more than 7,000 databases, including U.S. Federal Census schedules 1790 to 1930, immigration ships passenger lists, vital records, and U.S. military records. Please visit the library to use this database. 
EbscoHost  EBSCOhost searches thousands of magazines and journals to receive access to full-text articles. 
Gale Virtual Reference Library  Gale Virtual Reference Library searches Grizimek’s Animal Life Encyclopedia, UXL Encyclopedia of Biomes, Ancient Europe, 8000 BC to 10,000 AD: An Encyclopedia of the Barbarian World, Dictionary of American History, St. James Encyclopedia of Popular Culture, and The Junior Worldmark Encyclopedia of Foods and Recipes of the World. 
Jobview  Jobview is a self-service employment application that simplifies the job search process by allowing users to search and apply for jobs in a database that is updated daily with local, regional, and national jobs. 
 LawDepot LawDepot.com is the leading publisher of do-it-yourself legal documents and templates. Choose from hundreds of documents such as wills, real estate contracts, business forms, and more. 
LearningExpress Library   LearningExpress Library is a unique, interactive online learning platform that provides patrons with the most comprehensive selection of career-oriented and academic resources available—to help with job preparation, career advancement, career changes, and re-entry into the workforce.
 Mango Languages Mango Languages is an online language learning system that focuses on teaching actual conversation skills for a wide variety of languages. It offers 49 languages and 15 ESL courses. 
Novelist Plus  Novelist Plus is a tool that helps readers find authors and titles on subjects and themes similar to their favorite works of fiction and nonfiction. Book Club Discussion Guides are available for many popular book club selections. 
 Novelist K-8 Novelist K-8 Plus is a tool for helping young readers find authors and titles that are similar to their favorite works of fiction and nonfiction. 
 referenceUSA ReferenceUSA finds detailed information on more than 24 million U.S. businesses and 210 million U.S. residents. This database offers the capability to limit searches by zip code, city state, sales, number of employees, and other options. 
 ResumeMaker ResumeMaker provides access to a step-by-step guide to resume writing and formatting along with professionally written examples of cover letters, in-depth career advice, salary information, and job search tools.
 Salem Health Salem Health provides online access to Magill's Medical Guide. Magill's is an up-to-date and easy-to-use compendium of medical information suitable for student research as well as use by general readers.

The Testing and Education Reference Center  The Testing and Education Reference Center searches for information on colleges and universities, graduate and professional programs, available scholarships and awards, and preparatory entrance tests. The Resume Builder and Virtual Careers Library make this perfect for job seekers by providing specific examples and tips for the job search. 
 TexShare Databases TexShare is an extensive collection of databases that gives users the opportunity to access full-text articles in encyclopedias, almanacs, reference books, journals, newspapers, and electronic books. The databases provide information on health, business, biography, genealogy, and literature, in addition to homework help for students. See your librarian for login and password.
 World Book Online World Book Online provides access to articles, photographs, maps, and illustrations from The World Book Encyclopedia.
