SIM Fitness
Seniors In Motion members know that the key to a long, healthy life is fun, fitness activities.  Members may visit the Fitness Room at the Flower Mound Senior Center to use the multi-gym, elliptical machines, treadmill, and recumbent bike during normal business hours.  

Try one of the exciting fitness and dance classes to boost a boring workout routine.  Members may register and pay for the classes at the Senior Center Front Desk on the day and time of the class.  


10,000 STEPS CLUB

Meet SIM friends at the CAC indoor walking track to start off your day with a healthy walk on your way to 10,000 steps a day!

LINE DANCING
MON • 2:30 PM • BALLROOM C

This class is designed for both beginning and experienced line dancers.  Beginners can learn basic line dances beginning at 2:30 p.m.  Then, experienced dancers can join at 3:15 p.m. to learn the latest dance crazes.

EVENING LINE DANCING
Thur • 6:30 PM • BALLROOM C   FREE
Learn the latest line dances at this fun, free class.  SIM-member volunteers will teach this class that is great for beginners and fun for the experienced dancers.

YOUNG AT HEART TAP DANCING 
MON • 10 AM • BALLROOM A • FREE
Learn the basics of tap dancing. This class is perfect for beginners or those who want to improve their technique.

TAI CHI WORKSHOP

Certified Tai Chi instructor and occupational therapist Susan Thompson will lead this class that is perfect for all fitness levels.  Purchase a monthly pass for $3 per class!

YANG TAI CHI 
MON • 9 AM • BALLROOM C • $3
Tai Chi 16 form class is easy to learn and understand becaue it is short with only 16 moves to perform.  Yang Style is even, gentle, and slow moving to increase balance, improve flexibility, and reduce stress.

SIT & STAY FIT  
MON, WED, & FRI • 10 AM • BALLROOM C • FREE
Senior Center Staff will lead this chair-based exercise class that improves core strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, circulation, and reaction time.

SENIOR YOGA
TUES & THURS • 8 AM

BALLROOM C $4 
Certified instructor Jody Vise will show attendees how to maintain flexibility while increasing strength and balance. Various props are incorporated. Please bring your own yoga mat.

BALANCE, STRENGTH, & STRETCH

This course covers  basic muscle work to increase strength; gentle stretching to improve flexibility & movement; and a variety of skills and poses to help your balance.  Join Jody Vise to keep up your active lifestyle and independent living.

PICKLEBALL
CHECK GYM SCHEDULE • 1 - 4 PM 
CAC GYM • $1
This fun game is a combination of tennis and badminton. Please pay $1 to the Pickleball Captain in the gym.
