Town of Flower Mound Holiday Closures - 2012

If a holiday or an associated closure day occurs during the work week, Flower Mound Town offices, Flower Mound Municipal Court, the Flower Mound Animal Adoption Center, and Shirley Voirin Social Senior Center will close. Police and Fire Emergency Services will remain in operation during all holidays. The Town of Flower Mound will recognize and close during the following holidays in 2012:

New Year's Holiday	January 2
Martin Luther King Jr.'s Birthday (No Delay in Trash/Recycling Collection)	January 16
Good Friday (No Delay In Trash/Recycling Collection)	April 6
Memorial Day	May 28
Independence Day	July 4
Labor Day	September 3
Thanksgiving	November 22 and 23
Christmas	December 24 and 25

Waste Management Trash, Recycling & Bulk Collection Services

If a holiday recognized by the Town of Flower Mound occurs during the work week, trash, recycling, and bulk collection schedules will be delayed one day, with collections being completed on Saturday (with the exception of Martin Luther King Jr.'s Birthday and Good Friday). Federal Holidays

The Town does not close or cease operations for every federal holiday. All Town offices will remain open and trash collection services will remain on schedule during the following federal holidays:

George Washington's Birthday	February 22
Columbus Day	October 8
Veterans Day	November 11

Flower Mound Public Library

If a holiday or an associated closure day occurs during the work week, the Flower Mound Library will either close or remain in operation during alternate hours. The Library will recognize and close during the following holidays in 2012:

Community Activity Center

If a holiday or an associated closure day occurs during the work week, the Flower Mound Community Activity Center will either close or remain in operation during alternate hours. The Community Activity Center will adhere to the schedule below during the following holidays in 2012:
